If the MOD is reselected as the Olympic equipment for the 2008 Olympic Regatta a slightly amended qualification system for the Worlds and Europeans will be announced soon after the ISAF council decision in November

Results from the 2005 Continental championships will certainly be one of the criteria that count.

In the meantime, a review of the qualification system and its effectiveness will be carried out in 2005 with the object of recalibrating it for 2006 and onwards.
