The wind commands Mondello, no race for the male category while the female category complete only one round.

The strong northwest wind that blew over Mondello yesterday and reached more than 30 knots at one point, made the organization difficult and made difficulties for the athletes, forcing the judges to re-examine until late last night the race results making some changes to the overall results.

The breeze was unstable and not very strong today, with the male category coming back to the beach without finishing one race. The female category were a little luckier with one race completed, and already the results change for them.

At the end of the day the Ukranian Olga Maslivets is the new leader in the world championships. She is number 1 in the ISAF ranking after going up to second place after a review of the classification, today she took 6th place in the one and only race held overtaking Blanca Manchon who came in at 14th place. The light winds challenged Chan Wai Man from China, the Isralian Korzits and the German Lux, who in the general results keeps his third place behind Maslivets and Manchon. Tartaglini had a good race coming in at 4th place today keeping her 6th position in the classification. Laura Linares had a good start but came in at 8th place, remaining at the 21st position in the classification.

The mens results remain the same today, going by the races that were held on the first day.

The leader for now is still the Frenchman Huguet, followed by Myszka from Poland and the Ukrainian, Oberemko.

There have been a few changes to the athletes behind them, where in 4th position Ivan Pastor from Spain is just two points away from reaching the podium, infront of the two athletes from Hong Kong, Ho Chi Ho and King.

Riccardo Giordano is still in the lead among the Italians even though from last night he finds himself in 12th position. Paco Wirz falls down to 39th place, while Marco Casagrande is the second best Italian at 19th place.
