2006 World Festival On The Beach Ranking (MEC + IMCO Sicily Grand Prix)
2006 IMCO Nation Cup 15-21 May
The scores of the top 2 competitors from each nation in the World FestivalOn the Beach 2006 results(Mistral European Championship and the IMCO Sicily Cup) will be added together to form the IMCO Nations Cup final ranking 2006. All competitors entered in the MEC are automatically entered in IMCO Sicily Grand Prix. A prize fund of ? 5,000 minimum will be divided equally between Division Men and Women.

FACILITIES: Albaria Club will offer free accommodation for two boys and one woman of the first 10 Nations who will entry by 30th April 2006; Albaria
Club will offer free accommodation for the first 5 coach who come to Mondello with their own coach boat. Besides, special travel facilities will be available for competitors coming from foreign countries according to their racing results. Requests for support shall be sent to Albaria Club.
The Organizing Authority will consider all requests and will reply by E-mail or fax, indicating special budgets or possible reimbursements of parts of the travel expenses. It is possible to fly to Palermo Sicily via Paris, London, Berlin, Tunis, Venice, Bologna, Genova, Milan or Rome using normal scheduled airlines; you can reach Mondello by air (Punta Raisi airport Palermo - 20 Km away from Mondello or Catania airport - 200 km. away from Mondello), by ferry from Genoa, Livorno, Napoli or Cagliari, by train to Palermo Central Station.
We are glad if you can promote this event to all members of your classes and regions. To make organization tasks easier please send your acceptance as soon as possible, including a detailed list of your country's representative at this Windsurfing competition, included in the WORLD FESTIVAL ON THE BEACH 2006.
This event attracts enormous media throughout the world and is a good chance to promote the image of WINDSURFING and SAIL as real Sports.
